Andalusite

Andalusite is a transparent gemstone that derives its name from the southern Spanish province of Andalusia as it is believed that it was first discovered there. Today, it is mined from Brazil & Sri Lanka. Andalusite’s color has been compared to Alexandrite but it is not correct. Andalusite shows different colors in different directions and features all its colors at once while Alexandrite only changes color when it comes in a different light. It is one of the powerful healing stones which support the balance between the aspirations & desires.
